This simple and delicious Asian vinaigrette recipe contains only a few simple ingredients. You will enjoy the taste of sesame ginger, which can also be used as a marinade or dipping sauce.

This Asian Chicken Salad Dressing recipe is perfect for making a large crispy salad with Asian chicken, herbs and crispy almonds. I love it with my teriyaki pan.

I grew up most of my life in Hawaii or Southern California, and I mainly enjoy Asian and Polynesian recipes. And of course, if you hang out with me, you already know I’m totally obsessed with tacos.

I like to bring international flavors into my kitchen. That’s one of the reasons I like to collect family recipes. I especially like to collect family recipes that don’t necessarily belong to my family.

This sesame and ginger dressing recipe is my best reproduction of a family friend’s recipe.

There are many different versions of Asian Ginger Dressing on the internet. This version is special because it is light and tasty. Some recipes contain hoisin sauce, which eventually becomes a little heavier.

Ingredients

  • Soy sauce. Soy sauce is one of the main ingredients of this Asian sesame and ginger sauce. You can replace tamari if you avoid gluten, or even use coconut-based amino acids if you want to avoid soy.
  • Rice vinegar
  • roasted sesame oil
  • Garlic, ginger and shallots. You can use fresh ginger and garlic. If you need a shortcut, use canned garlic and ginger. You can usually find them in the products section.

Step-by-step instructions

There are several ways to prepare this simple salad dressing. You can make this recipe in a bowl and mix it with a whisk. You can also put everything in the pot and shake it.

Finally, you can use a blender or a food processor at high speed. Whatever technique you choose, this recipe is delicious.
