You can just mix the two ingredients together, cook them, and call it dinner, but I wanted to give you a little more info.

Avocado with green beans



Green beans and avocado are a match made in heaven. That’s all there is to it. They’re all of that plus a bag of kale chips when they’re together. A delicious addition to any beef or seafood meal! In a single word, delicious!




  1. Remove the green beans from the pods.
  2. In a frying pan, heat the oil.
  3. Over medium-high heat, roast the beans for 3 to 4 minutes, or until they are a good color. Reduce the heat to low and add the spices at the very end. Place in a dish and set aside.
  4. Finely chop the onion. Remove the stone from the avocado before peeling it. Roughly crush with a fork.
  5. Stir in the onion and avocado with the green beans.
  6. Before serving, garnish with chopped coriander.


Fresh, delicate green beans are ideal for this meal, although frozen beans may also be used. Just make sure they’re completely thawed and drained, otherwise the pan will cool and they’ll taste cooked rather than fried. Yellow beans may also be used.
