Low-carb Banana Bread – Gluten-Free Recipe

For a long time I have been looking for a gluten free banana bread recipe that is low on carbs and, I tried many.

I have always loved banana bread, but I always felt it was too carb heavy for my liking. And as I have gotten older, I have been trying to cut back on bread and carbs, so I set out to make a low carb banana bread recipe that I could eat without any guilt!

Bananas are my go-to fruit when I’m craving something sweet.  The only thing I can’t stand about them is that they contain lots of sugar.  So, I decided to make a low-carb banana bread; a vegan version that’s also gluten-free.   The recipe has a very simple, yet delicious and sweet taste; just the way I like it.. Banana bread with low carbs



Simple to prepare, slightly sweet, and wonderfully moist. This low-carb banana bread with eggs and almond flour is great for breakfast or a low-carb snack after a workout. It has no gluten, no grains, and just 3 grams of net carbohydrates per slice. It’s a nutritious, sweetener-free banana bread that the entire family will love.




  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).

  2. In a food processor or a medium-sized bowl if using an electric hand mixer, combine the banana, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Blend until completely smooth.

  3. Mix in the dry ingredients until everything is thoroughly mixed.

  4. Line a 9″ x 5″ (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter.

  5. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Halfway through the bread, take a look at it. Cover loosely with tin foil if the top begins to brown.

  6. Allow for at least 30 minutes of cooling on the rack. Cut into pieces and serve with low-carb nut butter or butter.
