Keto Turkey Burgers with Tomato Butter – Recipe

I have been a vegetarian for as long as I can remember. In high school, I worked in a bakery and loved making breads and pastries. I eventually graduated to making vegan cakes and desserts, but one thing I always missed was meat, especially turkey. When I heard about the ketogenic diet, I decided to give it a try.

To follow the keto diet plan, you need to cut out all carbs, no exceptions. You can’t have bread, pasta, rice, bagels, cereal, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, carrots, beets, beans, peas, bananas, mangoes, avocados, oranges, apples, mandarins, dates, broccoli, green beans, cucumbers, lettuce, lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, avocados, and more. What is keto? Keto is short for ketogenic diet. The diet is high in fat, low in carbs, and moderate in protein. Why is it called keto? The keto diet was developed in the 1920s

I have a son that is currently going through the keto diet. We have been doing it and so far so good. He has lost weight and feels better.

  3. Using a sharp knife, mandolin slicer, or food processor, shred the cabbage.

  4. Fry the cabbage in a large quantity of butter over medium-high heat until it is browned on the sides but still has a little of crunch. To ensure that it cooks evenly, stir it periodically. Salt & pepper to taste. Reduce the heat as you get closer to the finish.
