Keto Pulled Pork Sandwich with Oopsie Bread – Recipe

When you’re following a ketogenic diet, you have to make real sacrifices to make it work. While many keto followers enjoyed the comfort foods of their past, including comfort food classics like pizza, hamburgers, and mac and cheese, they had to give up those foods. With that in mind, I wondered if it would be possible to come up with a way to incorporate some of the comfort foods I enjoyed into a keto-friendly meal. I wanted a keto meal that was hearty and filling, but still light enough to feel healthy. And for the most part, I succeeded. In this keto pulled pork recipe, I used Oopsie Bread, a low carb version of a traditional hamburger bun.

I decided to make a keto pulled pork sandwich with Oopsie bread. I decided on a Oopsie bread for its soft and fluffy texture. I then went on to make a keto pulled pork sandwich by making a pulled pork bun using the bread. I then topped my pulled pork sandwich with a lettuce, tomato and avocado.

Pulled pork is fantastic. So delicate. It’s really delicious. It’s really gratifying. It’s ideal for a quick, simple lunch. Take a mouthful of your favorite filling sandwiched between two oopsies and savor every bite!

Medium (30 m + 6 h)



  1. In a food processor or coffee grinder, grind the spices and cacao nibs. Mix the ground spices with the olive oil and apply to the pork’s surface.

  2. Season the meat with salt and place it in a slow cooker. Cook on low heat for five hours or medium heat for four hours.

  3. Pull the pork apart with two forks after removing it from the slow cooker. Serve with red onion slices, pickles slices, lettuce, oopsie toast, mayonnaise, and shredded slaw on the side.


This meal may be completed without the slaw if you want to consume less carbohydrates. Simply top your sandwich or dish with some additional lettuce.
