Salad with a keto cheeseburger



This delicious salad is easy to make, cheap, and packed with all of the tastes of a juicy cheeseburger. The flavors combine for a recognizable and beloved taste experience that will have you wondering why you ever ate burgers on a bun! The pickles and onion provide flavor as well as a wonderful crisp texture to each mouthful.

    1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.

    2. In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Blend and shred the beef with the spices with a spatula, then fry until browned and cooked through, approximately 15 minutes.


    1. Combine all of the dressing ingredients in a small dish and set aside.


  1. Layer the following ingredients in each serving dish to make each serving: Begin with the lettuce, then add the tomatoes, meat, cheese, red onion, and pickles. Drizzle the dressing over top to finish.


Depending on the fat level of the ground beef and your particular taste, you may need to drain it before adding it to the salad.

Just before serving, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for a surprisingly nice nutty taste reminiscent of a toasted sesame seed bun.

If you have leftovers, keep the salad and vegetables separate from the meat and dressing in the refrigerator. Then, just before you’re ready to dine, you reheat the beef and mix the salad together.
