This instant recipe for shredded chicken in jars was developed in collaboration with Kevin’s Natural Food Company. If you are looking for super light Instant Pot ketos – this recipe is for you! All you need to know is how to prepare ground chicken in a pressure cooker.

I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for simple ideas to chop chickens in a pot. It’s the perfect recipe for lunch or dinner. I decided to use a lemongrass and basil sauce to make a delicious lazy, elongated chicken. Chicken with slices of sweet potato and my carrot and apple salad.

All Kevin sauces are suitable for palaeontologists and ketotechnicians. You can be sure that this dish is not only very easy to prepare, but also healthy. If you’re on a keto diet and you need the simple recipes for keto sauce, this is the easiest thing you’ve ever used, and they’re really delicious!

Recipes Note

For this recipe I used the lemongrass basil sauce from Kevin’s Healthy Eating. You can easily fry in another sauce. I was very happy with the way the ground chicken came out of the instant pot. I’d definitely use those sauces again.

Ingredients

Ground chicken in a pan

  • 2 packets of lemongrass basil sauce.
  • A whole chicken. You can also use 4 chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken.

Carrot and apple salad

  • 1 apple
  • 2 carrots
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Avocado butter
  • Petrushka

Step-by-step instructions

The instructions for this recipe are so simple. You can prepare this lightly ground chicken in an instant pot, but it also works very well in a slow cooker.

Step 1 – Preparation of ground chicken meat in a pot.

  1. Mix the sauce and the chicken. Put the chicken and the sauce in the instant pot.
  2. The kitchen. Put the instantaneous tank in manual mode for 20 minutes. Release steam at low pressure for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Chop the chicken. Take the chicken out of the sauce and chop it finely.
  4. Put the sauce on: Place the fine-mesh filter on a large bowl and sieve the rest of the sauce. When the chicken is ground, you can add sauce to the meat again. If you have used chicken breasts on recipe, you can cut the chicken directly into the sauce.

Stage 2 – Preparation of carrot and apple salad

  1. Crush the apple and the carrots. Use a slice of mandolin with a thin julienne knife to grind an apple and two carrots.
  2. Add vinaigrette to the apple salad. Mix the apples and carrots at will with butter, vinegar, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.
  3. Litter. Drop it and pull back.

Step 3 – Making a sweet potato tour

You can also serve this recipe with fried sweet potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes.

  1. Microwave oven. Heat the sweet potatoes in the microwave for about 6-7 minutes. Until the tender is announced.
  2. Cut and tanned. Cut the sweet potatoes with the round side and fry them with the round side of the pan.

Step 4 – Collection of shredded chicken piles

I made this recipe as nice little stacks, but all the ingredients make a perfect bowl to cook with. You don’t have to be fashionable.

  1. Put two slices of sweet potatoes on the plate.
  2. The top of the apple salad.
  3. The top with the ground chicken.
  4. If you want, add extra sauce.

How to prepare a light and instant pot of ground chicken meat

  • Put the whole chicken and 2 packets of sauce in the instant pot.
  • Close and lock the tank immediately. Set the time in manual mode to 20 minutes.
  • After this time, allow the direct tank to harden for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Take the chicken out and let it cool down until it’s cold enough.
  • Get the chicken off the bone.
  • The rest of the sauce. They add something when it goes back to the ground chicken.

Apple and carrot salad

  • With a slice of Julienne’s mandolin 1 apple and 2 carrots.
  • Throw away the apples and carrots with apple vinegar, avocado butter and parsley. Finish with salt and pepper.

Sweet Potato rounds

  • Pierce the sweet potatoes and boil them in the microwave for about 7 minutes.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes half a centimetre thick.
  • In the casserole, the balls are browned on both sides. Use a few teaspoons of butter or butter.

Notes

Use variant
Chicken fillet. You can use boneless chicken breasts or chicken halves in your recipe to make the preparation even easier.
Sweet potatoes. If you are careful with your carbohydrates or on a ketone diet, you can totally miss the sweet potatoes. Replace the zucchini layer with pasta.
Or you can make sweet mashed potatoes.
Slow Cooker Instructions
Place the chicken and the sauce in the slow cooker. Cook at high temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
