We’re on a keto diet in the lostmeals household and have been for a few weeks now. I’ve been on it for roughly a month while my husband has been on it for a couple of months before we both started. We both lost a little weight while on it, and we’ve been following it pretty well since we started.

Many people are familiar with keto as a way to help lose weight and keep it off over the long term. Some even call it the holy grail of weight loss programs. The truth is it’s not just the high fat meal that makes it so effective. Typical keto burger
Have it your way – tasty and keto! Make your own keto buns and enjoy a traditional hamburger with all of the toppings! Don’t forget to include the bacon…

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Make the hamburger buns first. In a mixing basin, combine the dry ingredients.
- Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the water, vinegar, and egg whites to the mixing bowl and beat for 30 seconds with a hand mixer. Don’t overmix the dough; it should have the consistency of Play-Doh.
- Form the dough into individual slices of bread, one for each dish, using wet hands. Sesame seeds should be sprinkled on top. Make sure the baking sheet has enough space for the buns to double in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 50-60 minutes on the bottom rack. When you tap the bottom of the buns, you should hear a hollow sound.

You may keep the bread in the freezer if necessary. Thaw in a heated oven or at room temperature.
