Chicken Burger Recipe

I like to make burgers out of chicken for dinner during the week. I use a mix of plain Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and fresh herbs. I highly recommend using the Greek yogurt instead of adding an extra egg yolk or other fat. I use plain yogurt with a smaller egg yolk because eggs have a lot of saturated fat. If you’re trying to lose weight, you can use full fat plain yogurt, but plain yogurt is high in carbs and calories, so use low fat plain yogurt. I also like to make them with cucumber, red onion, and lettuce in addition to the traditional burger fixins.

This is a recipe I make on a regular basis and I thought I’d post it for anyone who may want to give them a try. I normally make the burgers with my favorite homemade patties. But if you want to use store bought, here are a couple of links to the specific ingredients I use. http://www.slenderkitchen.com/recipes/michael-o-kelly/triple-black-chocolate-chip-cookies http://www.marthastewart.com/llc/recipe-detail.page?id=108325
